who told me it was my fault for not noticing him (I was going in a straight line in the bike lane) and refused to pay for a new wheel. If you know this guy tell him he's a bitch, he was riding a black Surly 1x1 with red ourys.
I know that it wasn't the best wheel, sort of a temporary until I got something stronger but I didn't expect it to go like this. Now I'm starting to understand why some people are trying to crack down on campus bike use.

I was trying to not be an asshole so he would just pay for my wheel and leave. Then he just said "sorry but I'm not gonna give you any money." I told him that shit was weak, then he put his headphones back in and rode off. I'm bummin hard but I just ordered a new HALO freedom 29er disc to replace the rim, that shits a bit stronger.
You should have gotten some pictures of his bike too, let some air out of his tires the next time I see it.
Also, what happened to his bike if your rim folded? Your fork must have bent too.
nah scott, he hit the front wheel at like a 90 degree angle right in front of the fork so the fork was untouched, plus I doubt the fu manchu would bend from that. I was hardly moving but he was flying, i don't think anything really happened to his wheel.
